Perkins, a UK-based power solutions provider, has officially launched its brand-new 18-liter inline six-cylinder 2806F-E18TAG2 2806J-E18TAG1 power pack ElectropaK engineered exclusively for generator applications. Developed for mobile rental diesel generator sets operating in North America, the model fully complies with the stringent US EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards, filling the gap in emission-compliant medium-to-high power mobile power units.

Certified to ISO 8528-5 G2 load performance standards, the unit delivers stable response under sudden load surges, making it ideal for temporary construction power, large outdoor events, municipal emergency repairs and other mobile power supply scenarios. The complete assembly integrates cooling, aftertreatment and fuel modules, enabling generator OEMs to conduct quick assembly without additional modifications, significantly cutting product development and factory testing lead times.

Drawing on over 90 years of Perkins expertise in power generation engine development, the 2806F series features a rugged engine block engineered for enhanced vibration resistance and high-temperature tolerance, suited to bumpy construction sites and outdoor high-temperature operating conditions. Its engine oil service interval is extended by 15% compared with competing equivalent models, lowering long-term operational costs for rental operators.
