Perkins Signs 2026–2028 Three-Year Framework Supply Agreement with China Towers for Nonroad Stage IV Generator Sets

With the full rollout of China Nonroad Stage IV emission regulations, Perkins electronically controlled engines of the 1104D and 2006 series for small & medium diesel generator sets have obtained full-model Stage IV certification. Matching open-type and silent gensets ranging from 50kW to 300kW have entered mass production by authorized OEM partners.

Perkins has formally sealed a three-year strategic procurement framework agreement with China Towers covering 2026 to 2028. Under this contract, a minimum of 48,000 Perkins-powered generator sets will be delivered within the three-year period. The first batch of 16,000 units will be shipped in 2026, deployed as emergency standby power for nationwide 5G-A base stations and edge computer rooms.

The same engine platform is also available for export to Southeast Asia and Africa in 50Hz versions.
